VICTORIA CREEK VINEYARDS - SOLITUDE FARMS LLC Wooden Boat

5 of 5 stars - On our trip to Leelanau we could not find this winery but we did find some vineyards up on a hill off Schomberg Rd. Could they be the vineyards responsible for the mysterious Wooden Boat? This wine has no doubt raised the bar in Leelanau.

Yes, those are the vineyards which produce the excellent wooden boat. The winemaker, John Wyman, will also make a small quantity of Riesling and Chard to compliment the Pinot/Merlot blend Wooden Boat. I think this is the best red coming out of Leelanau.
