4 of 5 stars - This producer has really improved its wines! It seems to be one of the current over achievers in the Haut-Medoc appellation. It had beautiful, medium intensity aromas of smoke and clove infused cassis, black cherries and spice. Its medium bodied palate had very good concentration, and was lushly fruited with a silky texture, a plump middle and a nicely delineated and freshly fruited longish finish. This wine was beautifully and neatly packaged as a wine, and rather a steal at less than 12 Euros a bottle. It seemed to be more like a Cru Classe in quality, so I bought a case and have been very happy with the quality.
