Michel Langla Laprune 1998 Armagnac

Posted: 4/4/2007

5 of 5 stars - After tasting many great armagnacs from the region none quite capture the rich honeyed excellence of this armagnac. Loads of fruit and taste make great old vintages seem pale and thin in comparisson. The wine is deep velvety golden with strength and almonds balancing the fruit. This is quite simply the finest armagnac many people will ever find. No wonder people drive from all over France to Sarragachies in the Gers to find it.
