This wine was matured in 3-4 year old barrels for 22 months, which is odd because when it was opened it did seem a bit oaky. It did also show some cherries and raspberries, with walnuts and nutmeg. The palate showed red fruits and spices, nutmeg, smooth rounded tannins, and the finish was very drying [...]
