McLaren Vale does a very good line in shiraz/grenache blends and it is a style I greatly enjoy. Good for the dinner table and even more interesting with a bit of bottle age. Aromas of cherry, raspberry, flowers, chocolate, spice and a certain savoury minerally dried herb character that is most attractive. Touch of flyspray. [...]
