Reporting from downtown Matamata, NZ. Choice of two decent red wines on the list. This one or a tempranillo from the Gimblett Gravels sub-region of Hawkes Bay (can’t remember the maker). Tonight I played it safe..although perhaps I should have tried the tempranillo..I am sure Shaggy of Tinto y Blanco would have gone for it [...]
