Allegrini Verona La Poja 2001

Intense, oak-tinged minerals hit the nose, accompanied by ripe plum and berry and hints of flowers. Full-bodied and chewy, with big, velvety tannins and fresh acidity that enhances the fruit flavors, leading to a long, well-balanced finish. Corvina. Best after 2008. 2,450 cases made.
