Greenock Creek Cornerstone Grenache 1999

100% Grenache, and aged in one-year and old French barrels. A lovely nose: cherry liqueur, spice, leathery with warm spices. The palate is very nice too, slippery and smooth, sweet but not too sweet, some earth and leather, with a creamy texture. There is nothing porty about this wine, and the secondary characters are balanced [...]
