Rockford “Vine Vale” Riesling 2003

Light yellow in colour. On the nose, preserved lemons and limes, minerals and grapefruit. A flinty palate, full flavoured sour fruits right across the palate, quite rounded, with grapefruit pith on the finish. No acid attack here. Initially gives the impression of fruit weight, but turns out a bit one dimensional, maybe even hollow – [...]
