Penfolds Thomas Hyland Cabernet Sauvignon 2003

I’ve seen this wine a couple of times in the past fortnight – time for a note methinks. According to the Penfolds website, the wine was matured in a combination of new and old French and American oak. Not the most useful information I’ve seen.
