Chateau Ste. Michelle Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley Canoe Ridge Estate 2003

This one has welcome subtlety, keeping its layers of blackberry, cherry, black olive and toasty oak flavors in reserve to emerge one by one as the finish sails on. Not a big wine, but has impressive depth and length. Tannins are nicely submerged. Best from 2008 through 2013. 6,000 cases made.
