2004 Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Zinfandel, Calif., about $12. The juicy blackberry and plum flavors are concentrated but not overbearing, as sometimes happens with this grape. I had lost my taste for zinfandel for awhile -- too many clumsy, hot-tasting wines...
